Faith Endures Under Trial | James 1:9-12

1. Faith Endures the Test of Poverty (vs. 9)

• The poor believer can look to God in faith and boast in their high position in Christ

2.       Faith Endures the Test of Prosperity (vs. 10-11)

• The rich believer can look to God in faith and boast in his identification with Christ and His people.

3.       Faith Endures for the Promised Reward (vs. 12)

• The believer can look to God with faith for the crown of life eternal.
• The Puritan preacher Jonathan Edwards prayed: “Lord, stamp eternity on my eyeballs!” May we live our lives in light of eternity
