1.    Consider the Source of Temptation (vs. 13-14)

• God does not tempt us with evil
• Our deceitful hearts lead us astray

2.    Count the Cost of Yielding to Temptation (vs. 15)

• Submitting to your desires makes way for sin
• A well-worn path of sin leads to death

3.    Commit to the Source of Deliverance from Temptation (vs. 16-18)

• We must look to God’s Unchanging Character
• We must look to God’s Life-Giving Truth
