Christ, Our Living Hope

Text: 1 Peter 1:3-9

In Christ We Possess an Eternal Salvation (1:3)

• We have been shown great mercy in Christ.
• We have been born again to a living hope in Christ.
• We have been given salvation through the work of Christ.

In Christ We Possess an Eternal Inheritance (1:4-5)

• Our inheritance in Christ is imperishable.
• Our inheritance in Christ is undefiled.
• Our inheritance in Christ is unfading.

 In Christ We Possess an Eternal Joy (1:6-9)

• In this world, we will experience trials of all kinds that will prove the genuineness of our faith.
• Because of Christ, we possess an unshakable joy that will culminate in Christ’s presence when our faith will be sight.
