In Christ We Possess an Eternal Salvation (1:3)
- We have been shown great mercy in Christ.
- We have been born again to a living hope in Christ.
- We have been given salvation through the work of Christ.
In Christ We Possess an Eternal Inheritance (1:4-5)
- Our inheritance in Christ is imperishable.
- Our inheritance in Christ is undefiled.
- Our inheritance in Christ is unfading.
In Christ We Possess an Eternal Joy (1:6-9)
- In this world, we will experience trials of all kinds that will prove the genuineness of our faith.
- Because of Christ, we possess an unshakable joy that will culminate in Christ’s presence when our faith will be sight.
