- God is the Creator of the Heavens and creation responds to Him (Psalm 96:5, 96:11-12)
- God is great and to be glorified–The primary Hebrew word for glory is kavod, which literally means “heavy” or “weighty”– it’s real, and substantive, carries true worth and importance (Psalm 96:3-6, 96:7-8)
- Psalm 19 says that the heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1)
- Nature declares Him to be God (Psalm 96:11-12)
- He is unique and separate (holy) and the only true God (Psalm 96:4-6, 96:9)
- God will come as judge, and all nature rejoices that He comes to judge the world (Psalm 96:11-13)
