The Redemption of Christ

Text: Colossians 1:13-14

The Work of Redemption Accomplished (1:13)

• God the Father accomplished His saving work through Christ.
• This saving work delivered us from darkness and brought us into the kingdom of Christ.

The Work of Redemption Applied (1:14)

• Through Christ’s sacrificial death, we have been set free from the power of sin.
• Though Christ’s sacrificial death, we have been forgiven of the penalty of sin.
