- Jesus is the supreme and sovereign Creator, Sustainer, and focal point of all things.
He is Preeminent in the Church (1:18)
- Jesus is the Founder and Leader of the church.
- Jesus’ death and resurrection secured our entrance into the church.
- Nothing can compare to Jesus’ preeminence in all things.
